Youth Food Revolution (Coming Soon)

Produced & Directed by Emmy®-winning filmmaker Ron Rudaitis, this upcoming Public Television documentary explores the intersection of youth culture and the food movement, highlighting best practices in efforts to educate the next generation about the connection to local food systems and the impacts on our nation's and region's economy.

The documentary features dynamic personal story arcs from young farmers, chefs, and food activists, intercut with expert testimony from some of the world’s top sustainable food voices, including interviews with renowned Chef/Activist Alice Waters (Chez Panisse), Carlo Petrini, founding father of the international Slow Food Movement, and popular singer/songwriter Jason Mraz, who discusses gardening, local food, and the importance of Urban Farms.

The "Youth Food Revolution" documentary will not only provide a snapshot of the movement as it exists today, but also serve as an encouragement for future generations of young farmers, chefs, and food activists, helping viewers feel more empowered and connected.
